Demonstrator Stamp 'n Chat
This was my card for last evening's demonstrator stamp 'n chat. With the new 6x6 embossing folders, you can turn your card sideways to have the design at an angle. The card has to be a little smaller like
3 3/4 x 5 inches to fit through the machine. I did this with the butterfly embossing folder. I used the new butterfly set with matching framelits. The ink color is Tip Top Taupe and the card base is Sahara Sand. Do you like the new Washi tape punch?

Sympathy Card
I never enjoy having to make a sympathy card, but I do think this one turned out beautifully. I used blendabilities to color everything and do the shading too.

Stampin' Up Blog Hop!
I was asked to participate in a Stampin’ Up! Blog Hop.
Part of this blog hop is to answer the following questions:
1. What are you working on?
I have been working on a couple of projects. The first was designing and helping my
grandson to make his valentines for his preschool class. The second was designing a card for my
church’s card ministry. My next projects
will be to design a card for my monthly demonstrator stamp ‘n chat and to make
my own valentines to send.
2. How does your work differ from others in your genre?
Most of my cards are simple and crisp. I have been told that my designs are very
mathematical.
3. Why do you create what you do?
I enjoy creating and sharing my ideas
with others. It just feels good to be
able to do something you love and to be able to share it with others.
4. How does your creativity process work?
I like to look at others’ creations to
give me inspiration. Often just looking
at a card will inspire me to create something totally new. Of course I also CASE cards that I really
admire.
So here is a card that I recently made for my daughter's birthday. I got inspiration from Debbie Henderson on her blog here--http://www.debbiesdesignsblog.blogspot.com/2015/01/new-gate-fold-easel-card-and-new-video.html
Everything is Stampin' Up except the daisy punch out. I couldn't find my Stampin' Up punch, so I used that one instead.
I hope to ask a few gals to participate in the blog hop for next Monday--I will keep you posted.

Valentines for my Grandson
When I saw this cute stamp set in the occasions mini catalog, I immediately thought of valentines for my grandson for his preschool.
I used part of the fish image and embossed it in gold, but the googlie eyes are what make it fun.
I also separated the greeting from the stamp so that I could stamp it inside.
Then, using photopolymer stamps, I was able to put his name together so that he can stamp it himself.
We are going to have so much fun putting these together! He needs quite a few, so it will be a great project for the next week or so.

Card Ministry for my Church
I have been wanting to start a card ministry for my church for some time. I finally have the ok, and our first get-together to make cards after mass is February 8th.
This is the card that I designed for our first time. I don't know how many people will come and I don't know how crafty they will be, so I will prepare some of the card ahead of time. Another woman from my church is also working with me, and she will be designing a card as well.
I am excited to finally get started, and hope that it is successful.
The cards will be used by the Pastoral Home Care Ministry team to cheer their clients.

Ronald McDonald House
With so many things going on in my life, it has been a few months since I have been able to volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House. So today I am going, and we will be making magnetic calendars and bookmark calendars.
Today is also my birthday, so it feels great to be doing something like this to celebrate!
Have a great day!
