Pants with pockets card

I got this template from our Stampin' Connection site which is only for Stampin' Up demonstrators. Many of the ladies are making cards with this template for either bikini tops and bottoms, or bra tops and bottoms. I did see one card where a demo used it to make denim pants with pockets, so thus, my creation here. My intent was to be able to put a gift check in one of the pockets. They are mighty tiny, so it is a tight fit. I may have to re-think the design. Anyway, it could be really cute with Designer Series Paper and stamping on the pockets. There are all sorts of ways to embellish. If I get a chance to try more, I will post them here. I will also try to find the original blog post that would have the template for you. (update--I got the template from http://stampowl.blogspot.com/2008/01/panty-template.html)
I have been spending a lot of my time lately preparing for upcoming demonstrator events, so I cannot post the projects until after the events. Keep an eye out for them in mid-April. :-)

Mini Milk Carton Pitcher

A really creative demo thought up the idea to make the mini milk cartons into pitchers by adding a handle and keeping the spout open. This is my try at doing this. I used the rub-ons from the Occasions Mini and the flowers were cut from felt using the Blossom Party die. The picture doesn't capture how cute it looks in person.

Another Stencil Card

I tried my hand at another stencil card. This time I used the glossy cardstock and Classic Ink Stamp pads with sponge daubers. I think I like this look better. Also the Spring colors are fun. I did a combination of Melon Mambo and Rich Razzleberry on the flowers and a combination of Always Artichoke and Handsome Hunter for the leaves and stems.
The card was really fast to make and looks elegant too.

Just some fun little thank you notes

I appreciate my customers so much! These are just some of the cute little thank you notes that I sent out to my online customers.
Thank you so much!!

This monogram gift set is the final item we will be creating at the April 11th stamp camp. We will decorate the metal tin and 6 of the 3 x 3 inch cards with the monogram of your choice. It makes a lovely gift for Mother's Day, birthday, or for yourself. See my website for the details of the stamp camp.

Stamp Camp card #2

This is the second card we will be creating at my next stamp camp. It is just a variation of a card I posted recently.

Garden From the Heart

This is one of the cards we will be making at my next Stamp Camp on April 11th. I used the Garden From the Heart stamp set from the Occasions mini catalog. Keep an eye on my blog this week for posting of the other items for the camp. Thanks to Gretchen Barron for the card idea.

Awash with Flowers

This card features a new stamp set that will be in our new 2010-11 catalog due out in July. During the month of April, you have the opportunity to earn this stamp set free with a $350 workshop. It is also available for purchase during April in either wood mount or clear mount. (also used on this card is the Eggcourtrements stamp set from the Occasions mini)
I also used this card as my shoebox swap at our monthly demonstrator stamp 'n chat last evening.

Stencil Card

This card is made using the new Paisley Patterns stencil from Stampin' Up! I just love paisley, so this stencil is super for me. It come with 3 paisley designs and a background. For this card I used my Earth Elements colors of Summer Sun, Old Olive, and Chocolate Chip craft ink pads and applied the ink using sponge daubers. After that, I ran it through the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder and cut it out. The card stock edges are torn and then sponged with Chocolate Chip ink. It is a very simple card without a lot of frou-frou, but I like the antique look to it.

Easter Treat & more Stampin' Up Opportunity information

My grandson loves M & M's, so I think I may fill this little mini milk carton with M & M's for him for Easter.

More about the Stampin' Up opportunity--When you are a demonstrator you have access to a site called Stampin' Connection. On this site, you can view thousands of creations made by other demonstrators. On our demonstrator website there are ideas galore as well. We receive a monthly magazine, and advance notice and ability to pre-purchase upcoming mini catalog items.
I also attend monthly demonstrator stamp 'n chats that are open to demonstrators only--and I support my downline with special gift surprises, especially when they are doing well in their business.
I will be sharing more bonuses on why I love being a demonstrator with you very soon!
Have a great day!

Great Opportunity!

I would like to let you know about a special opportunity I have with Stampin' Up! I am part of a special promotion called the Recruit Crew. Over the next 4 months I will be sharing special information with you on why it is so great to be a Stampin' Up demonstrator.
Maybe you have never considered becoming a demonstrator because you don't really want to teach or do workshops. Do you enjoy saving money? Doesn't everyone? When you become a Stampin' Up demonstrator, you receive a 20% discount on all of their catalog merchandise! And, if you place your first order within the first 45 days of signing up, you get 30% off that first order!! Wow! In addition, with increasing purchases, you can earn additional commissions and rewards. A lot of demonstrators end up getting so excited, they do start having workshops to share that excitement with others. Then by taking orders and signing up new recruits, they earn money to have even more fun stamping!
You may ask, what's the catch? After you purchase your starter kit (which is discounted 15% through March 31st), you just need to sell or purchase $300 a quarter to stay current. That's only $100 a month, so if you are already an avid stamper, or have friends who are, this is a pretty easy quota to meet! If you decide it's not for you, then there is no penalty for dropping out.
It is so easy to sign up, you can even do it directly from my web site www.annettewen.stampinup.net! Go to Start Your Own Business and click on Join Now and my code is surec8 for signing up. There are 2 starter kits available, the regular starter kit (currently $169) and the My Digital Studio starter kit (currently $157), depending on your interest. The regular starter kit has over $335 worth of products! And if you sign up by March 31st, you will also get a free stamp set of your choice (valued up to $47.95)!
Feel free to contact me if you have questions or are possibly thinking this might be a fun opportunity for you. Just pop on over to my website--the link is on the right side of this blog page. You can get my email from there to ask me any questions you may have about becoming a Stampin' Up demonstrator, and why I have had such fun in my 5 years with Stampin' Up!
Signing up during Sale-a-bration gives you the best benefits and gets you started on a path to fun and meeting new people who love to create just like you do!
(Please note: this opportunity is for U.S. demonstrator sign-ups only)

Thank You Gift

This is a sample of a thank you gift I give to my customers who place big orders ($150 and up) with me. I also use these as thank you gifts for my customers who bring new people to my stamp camps. I have made a bunch of these little sets in all different styles. Contact me on how to get some of your own! :-)

Ronald McDonald House Project

This is the project I will be doing with the families at the Ronald McDonald House tomorrow. It is a fun, easy project, especially for the kids. It is made from the Matchbox die from Stampin' Up.

Card Change

I tried something new and I think I will use this card in the Spring Stamp Camp instead of the one shown previously. However, if an attendee wishes to make the other style, I will have the materials available. I think that the scallop border matches better with the curly label punch, so that is why I changed it. What do you think?

Spring Stamp Camp

Below are the samples for my Spring Stamp Camp to be held Sunday, March 14th from 1-4 pm. We will make 2 each of the four cards and an Easter basket. The fee for the camp is $20. Contact me to RSVP by March 8th.

The above Easter basket is made using the Fancy Favor Die, Large Scallop Circle Die, Oval Frame Die, and the Daisies Die. I used the woodgrain stamp.

The above card is a combination of ideas from our Demonstrator Stampin' Connection site. It uses the 2-step bird punch, lattice die, and the scallop trim border punch. I used Three Little Words and Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp sets.

The idea for the above card was cased from the Stampin' Connection. I changed quite a few of the components. It uses the top note die, beautiful wings embosslit die, modern label punch, and word window punch. I used Cheep Talk and Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp sets.

The above card is a case from my friend Deidre's card from our last demonstrator stamp 'n chat. It uses the fancy flower punch and the cherry blossom embosslit die.

The above card is a case from a card by Janet at our last demonstrator stamp 'n chat.
