Fall Stamp Camp Cards

Here are the cards we will be making during our Fall Stamp Camp next weekend.  The top card is my own creation using the new single stamp from the Holiday Catalog.
The second card is a creation by Makani Lew, the third card is a CASE of a card I found on our Demonstrator site, Stampin' Connection, and the fourth card is a creation by Sandy Fowler.
There are some fun techniques on these cards that I will be sharing with my customers.
Additionally we will be making a cute card box to hold the cards and envelopes.  It is made using the new envelope punch board.  I don't have a photo ready to upload right now, but will do so in the next few days so you can see how easy and fun it is to use this punch board for more than just envelopes!
If you would like to join us, please contact me by Monday, September 23rd.  I have a few more spots open.

Demonstrator Stamp 'n Chat Card

This was my card for last evening's demonstrator stamp 'n chat.  I used the newest Designer Series Paper from the holiday catalog and the new stamp set and punch.  I made the lower pocket of this card using the new envelope punch board that Stampin' Up just started offering.  It does so much more than just make envelopes of nearly any size.  Contact me for more information!

Ready For Departure--Party Ensemble in My Digital Studio

Our youngest grandson loves airplanes (we go to the Hiller Aviation Museum quite often), so how perfect that Stampin' Up had a party ensemble in My Digital Studio!
My daughter and I had a lot of fun using the download to create the invitation and decorations for his second birthday party.
Here are a few photos of the decorations.

These propellers actually spin!

Cameo Tintype

I don't know quite what to call this, but it is sort of like a cameo, but I sponged silver ink onto black paper that has been dry embossed with the image.  If you look closely, you will also see the embossed frame around it.  It has a classic beauty to it.

Tea Treat Tutorial

You can make three treat favors from one 8 1/2 x 11" piece of cardstock.  Cut at 3 1/2" and 7 1/4".

Score at 3 3/4", 4 1/4', and 4 3/4".

Fold at 4 1/4" and place Apothecary Accent framelit so that the looped edge is off the fold as shown, and run through Big Shot.

This is what it should look like after cutting.

Open up and place score line even with design on the Beautifully Baroque Embossing Folder, and run through Big Shot.  Turn and do other side the same way.

It should now look like this.

Fold up on score lines as shown.
Then decorate as desired.
