Cameo Tintype

I don't know quite what to call this, but it is sort of like a cameo, but I sponged silver ink onto black paper that has been dry embossed with the image.  If you look closely, you will also see the embossed frame around it.  It has a classic beauty to it.

Tea Treat Tutorial

You can make three treat favors from one 8 1/2 x 11" piece of cardstock.  Cut at 3 1/2" and 7 1/4".

Score at 3 3/4", 4 1/4', and 4 3/4".

Fold at 4 1/4" and place Apothecary Accent framelit so that the looped edge is off the fold as shown, and run through Big Shot.

This is what it should look like after cutting.

Open up and place score line even with design on the Beautifully Baroque Embossing Folder, and run through Big Shot.  Turn and do other side the same way.

It should now look like this.

Fold up on score lines as shown.

Then decorate as desired.

Demo get-together and BBQ

One of the great perks to being a Stampin' Up Demonstrator is the fun friends you make in other demos and customers.  I have a fun group of demos that meet once a month to share ideas.  Then every so often, we do just for fun get-togethers like a BBQ.  We had an event like this today. One of the demos hosted it at her home and I volunteered to bring a project.  I ended up doing two because I couldn't decide which one to do.  

I will have to do a tutorial to show you how to make the top project.

Birthday Card for my Grandson

I had such fun creating this birthday card for our youngest grandson.  I wanted to use the new flip die from Stampin' Up and used an idea from Patty Bennett to add on to the right side of the card. 

Stamp 'n Chat Card

Here is my card from this month's Demonstrator Stamp 'n Chat.  I used two oval punches to make this bow for the card.  It is a nice option for a card because it lays flat on the card.  I put a large pearl on this one, but one of Stampin' Up's new Candy Dots would work too, and be flatter for mailing.
