Demonstrator Holiday Gift Exchange
Last evening we had our annual Demonstrator Holiday Party and Gift Exchange. Each person created a hand-made item and we did a random gift exchange. My creations are above. I created the Tree ornament using small wooden spools covered with silver ribbon. I needed a cute box to put it in, so I covered a box using snowflake paper and made a bow to add to the top. On the inside, I placed some crinkle paper and added my cute owl candy/gift card holder with a mint inside.
My demo friends always go all out for this, so we have such amazing creations!
We also do a sweet and savory potluck, so you can imagine how yummy that was!

Ronald McDonald House Project
This was my project for the Ronald McDonald House yesterday. I created the designer series paper, reindeer, and to/from on My Digital Studio. The pouch is made from the scallop envelope die, and one end was left open. If I put a gift card in it while I was gluing it, the gift card fit in very nicely. It was a simple and quick project. We had 4 demonstrators at the event yesterday and we were happy to see a lot of children participating.

Boutique item
These little guys were a last-minute addition, but ended up being very popular. The silver ones sold out. They are very small, 2x3 inches.

Cute Snowman Hershey Bars
These cute little snowmen were created from a public template of the face. (thank you to the creator!) I couldn't get to my sewing machine, so I had to hand-sew the little hats. It took quite a while to make 14 of these little guys!

Another Boutique Item
This is a holiday notepad/pencil in a DVD case. The notepad is removable so it can be used as a gift box or a storage box too.

Another boutique item
I made this pouch using the petite pocket die (same one I used for the little owl). I ran it through the Big Shot with the new snowflake edge embossing folder and made a belly band with the little coffee cup on it. It has Starbucks peppermint mocha latte via mix inside the pouch. A nice little stocking stuffer or something to add to that Starbucks gift card.

Another Boutique item
These are cute little Snowman kisses. Various people have created these and I made two types. Thank you to the many people whose creations inspired me!

Some of my Holiday Boutique items
Here is one of my Holiday Boutique items. I used the same idea from a previous post, but made this one more holiday-themed. You can put a gift card or a small candy in the pouch. So cute!
I will post some of my other items over the next few days.

Extra Surprise Project at Stamp Camp
I usually like to have a surprise project at my stamp camps. This is the one I had for my Holiday Stamp Camp last weekend. It is a pouch that can hold a gift card or a piece of candy, or one of the Via coffee packets from Starbucks. The idea came from Kimberly Van Diepen, I just changed it up a little.

October Demonstrator Stamp 'n Chat
This was my card for this month's demonstrator stamp 'n chat. I feel like I have been so busy, it was hard for me to come up with this idea. I love that there are framelits for the stamp set so I can just run them through my Big Shot and have them cut out just perfectly.

October Ronald McDonald Project
This is my project for the Ronald McDonald House today.
I used the Petite Pocket die to create the pouch for the candies.
I used the Halloween DSP from the Holiday Mini and the Tricky Treats Stamp set. I also used the black striped ribbon from the Holiday Mini.
Hope the families will have fun creating these today. :-)

Our oldest son is being ordained a deacon at St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican in Rome today. It is a joyful time for him as he also prepares for his priestly ordination next June.
This is the card that I made and sent to him to congratulate him.

Sympathy Cards with MDS
Sometimes I need a card in a hurry and don't have time to figure out what stamp set I want to use. That is why My Digital Studio comes in so handy. I created both of these sympathy cards in a short time and then layered them on some embossed cardstock to make quick and elegant cards.
The top one is for my sister who lost her oldest cat recently. I know she is feeling very sad, so I am hoping this card will cheer her a bit.
The second card is for a high school friend who recently lost his father.
I guess I never really have sympathy cards on hand--I guess hoping I won't have to use them, but using MDS, I can have them ready to go in short order.

Ronald McDonald House Project
This is my project for the Ronald McDonald House today. There is a little coloring book included that I made using My Digital Studio. The front has a pocket to hold the mini markers.
I thought this would be good since it is back to school time.

Ronald McDonald House Project
This is the project I had for the Ronald McDonald House this weekend. |
The kids got to decorate the bubbles holder to use as a gift, but most of them took their bubbles out right away to use. ☺
I used the special stamp set designed by Stampin' Up for the Ronald McDonald House. With the purchase of each set, a donation is made to the RMH.

Stamp 'n Chat card
This is my card for tonight's demonstrator stamp 'n chat. I am not able to attend because we are having a wonderful family reunion with family from Australia, Oregon, Northern and Southern California. It is also exciting because all of our children and grandchildren are going to be here, for which we are so grateful.
However, I still created a card to share and got my inspiration from a card on our demonstrator only site, Stampin' Connection.

Birthday card for my son-in-law
I created this card for my son-in-law's birthday. Inside there is a pocket to hold a gift card. I used the same designer series paper from the outside to make the pocket.
Since his birthday is so close to the 4th of July, I usually use that theme. This time I left out the red and just went with the white and blue and the star. I used the new Sizzix primitive star framelits. All the other items on the card are Stampin' Up!
