I am adding some great events to my calendar. Check out my Stampin' Up website at www.annettewen.stampinup.net for the details.
Some dates to save:
Sunday, September 19th--Holiday Mini Catalog Stamp Camp
Thursday, September 23rd--Holiday Mini Stamp Camp (am session)
Sunday, October 10th--Halloween and Thanksgiving Cards Stamp Camp (Please note, this is a date change)
Sunday, November 14th--Holiday Cards Stamp Camp
Tuesday, November 16th--Thanksgiving/Christmas Table Decorations Stamp Camp
I will also be adding a Christmas tag and bag stamp camp in early December, so keep an eye out for that event.
By the way, August 31st is your last chance to order items from the Summer Mini Catalog. You can order online 24/7 directly from my Stampin' Up website.
Have you seen the wine glass name tags in your local store? They are usually pretty plain looking. So I thought it would be fun to design my own and make it very festive for parties or get-togethers. I used the extra large scallop circle punch and the 1 inch circle punch to make these. I punched out the 1 inch circle first, and then centered the hole in the scalloped punch. Voila! Then you just snip between one of the scallops to the center so that it can slip onto the wine glass or water goblet. Then you can decorate it however you wish!
While my husband and I were away for a few days up at Lake Tahoe, Emma stayed over at Ruby's house. Here is a cute picture of them taken by my daughter sharing Emma's new comfy bed. So sweet!!
This is a card that I made for Fay's birthday. I know she likes cards with a musical theme, so I thought this would be perfect.
I brayered over the newsprint Designer Series Paper. The rose was embossed on the paper, brayered, cut out, and layered onto the card.
This is my card for our Demonstrator Stamp 'n Chat last evening. The theme was to take a sample from the Stampin' Up catalog and change it up a bit. I used the sample on page 9 of the catalog and the above card is what I created.
I used a lot of the new items from the catalog. Let me know what you think. :-)
Just wanted to share a photo of these cuties. Our doggie, Emma is on the right and our daughter's doggie, Ruby is on the left. We got to doggie-sit recently and the girls just hung out on the blankie together. They are both such sweeties. Emma is 6 and Ruby will soon turn 2.
It looks like Emma is thinking, " You better stay on your side of the blankie if you know what's good for you."
I just love these gals to pieces!! :-)
This is the card folio we will be making in my stamp camp tomorrow. It has 2 pockets inside that can each hold 2 cards and envelopes, so the cards we will be making will fit nicely inside. There is a velcro dot to keep it closed. Don't you just love the new color Daffodil Delight?
I do have 2 spots left for the stamp camp, so if you would like to join us tomorrow at 1 pm, just give me a call or email to let me know! Only $15 for 4 cards and the folio, snacks, and lovely conversation! (Ages 15 and up only please.)
These are the projects that I will be sharing with the families at the Ronald McDonald House tomorrow. I like to do projects for the season, and since school will be starting again soon, I thought that a pencil and tablet would be fun. I used Stampin' Up's new owl punch to make the really cute owls for these projects. I used wiggly eyes instead of the dots to make them a little more fun. I hope the families will enjoy these projects.
