This is a gift card or money holder that I created in the shape of a purse. I had a chipboard cut-out that I used as a template for the purse.
Here you can see the pocket where you can place the cash or gift card. The blank white area is for writing your greeting.
I then tied a ribbon on the handles to hold the card closed.
A Birthday card for my son--Happy Birthday Matthew!
I have a lot of these empty altoid tins, and decided to decorate one and make some cute little notecards to go inside. The inside of the tin is also lined with the striped paper. A sweet little gift for a hostess or friend.
Just another simple card using the Big Shot Daisies die, Chat Room rub-ons, and Sweet Pea paper and felt.
I decided it was time to use some of the Sweet Pea felt pieces that I received free from Stampin' Up for becoming certified in My Digital Studio. I also used some of the Sweet Pea Designer Series Paper and the Chat Room rub-ons. Easy peasy to make!!
This card is a little challenging to photograph, but the hearts on the right side are embossed with irridescent ice. This was my card for our Demonstrator Stamp 'n Chat on Thursday the 18th.
I was creating with my Big Shot dies (Top Note and Daisies) and this was one of my creations. I also used the Chat Room rub-ons for the sentiment.
Today is my daughter's birthday and her favorite color is orange, so I created this card for her. I hope she likes it. ☺
Wishing you all a very Happy Valentine's Day! I created the above card with My Digital Studio.
Hope everyone has a lovely day!
Also Gung Hay Fat Choy! Happy Chinese New Year, year of the Tiger!
Some very talented ladies who are Stampin' Up Demonstrators devised a way to make these baskets using the Scalloped square die and paper. (One of them is Jackie Topa, and I know there are many more out there whose names I do not have.) Most of the people I have seen have been using it to make purses or bags out of fabric. Since my sewing machine isn't handy, I am grateful to be able to do the same with paper. This is fun and easy and can be very colorful! I hope to make more of these for Easter gifts for friends.
After creating the felt flower pins, I thought it might be fun to create a valentine heart pin. I used the sparkly felt and added a red corduroy brad (from Stampin' Up) to the center. I'm all set for Valentine's Day!
I used some Sizzix heart dies to cut out the felt. (In fact, the dies are from quite some time ago, so I don't even know if they are still available) But there are other heart dies available from Stampin' Up, and of course, the trusty trace and cut out method as well.
