I have been volunteering at the Alzheimer's Association for 13 years. About 11 of those years, I have had the pleasure to work with another volunteer who quickly became a very close friend of mine. I look forward to seeing her each week as we work together to send out information to people who call in needing answers to their questions about Alzheimer's disease.
I made her this special "file folder" Christmas card. (check out this video by Dawn Griffith for instructions on how to make this here) The insert lifts out and I stamped a greeting on the inside and attached a gift card for her to one of her favorite restaurants.
Hats off to my special and amazing friend, Eleanore!
Each year my demonstrator friends and I get together for a holiday potluck at Christmas time. We also do a hand-made holiday gift exchange. This year I made a clock, shown above. I decorated the box with Stampin' Up holiday papers and bow. I hope whoever receives my gift will enjoy it!
I made this fun gift card holder for a holiday gift. There is a lady who is the cashier at an eatery that I frequent, and she is always so pleasant, and remembers me each time. I wanted to let her know that I appreciate her kindness, so I made this for her. I gave it to her the other day when I went out to lunch. I was so surprised when she came around the counter to give me a hug! Thank you Aisha for being you!
