Fourth Card for our camp

I love this new stamp from the holiday mini called Leaves of a Tree so much that I have used it on two of the cards for the camp. This tree is stamped in versamark ink and then I used chalk pastels to color it in.

I am still working on the project for the camp, but will post a photo as soon as I have it all set.

Demonstrator Stamp 'n Chat Card

This was my card for last evening's demonstrator stamp 'n chat. I got the idea for the pennant candy corn from a sticker that I saw at the local craft store. Click on the picture to see it close up and you will see the spider web embossing on the black card.

Fun with scraps

This is a fun way to use up scrap strips of coordinating paper! Also if you just want to cut the strips and make the design. Some of the papers have a shiny surface, so it adds to the texture. Another sample is shown below.

Re-using for a fun card

This tag was attached to a beach towel that I purchased for my son who will be going away to college soon. The tag was so cute that I couldn't throw it away. I tied some ribbon in the hole in the top, added a greeting, and mounted it onto card stock. Voila! A fun under the sea card made from a recycled tag!

Ruby and Emma

We took care of Ruby while our daughter was at the hospital having our newest grandson. Here, she and Emma are sharing Emma's bed, sitting in the sun near the back sliding glass door. The shadow kind of hides Emma, but she looks so cute with her head down, relaxing. Ruby had her head down too, but then looked up when I started taking photos.

Ronald McDonald House Projects

Here are the projects that I did for the Ronald McDonald House today. The families were all out having fun in the sun, so we didn't have any takers for our projects. When this happens, we make them up and leave them at the front desk for the families to pick up later.
