Mini Convention Stamp Fest Samples

A
A few weeks ago I got together with some other demonstrators (downline, sideline, and friends) for a day of creating. There were 8 of us and we each brought a shoebox project for a card and a 3-D project. My samples are shown above. We also had a potluck lunch. We called it a Mini-Convention stamp fest. I also brought along all of my swaps and projects from convention so that the ladies could enjoy them too. It was a very fun day filled with stamping and sharing.

Some More Favorites

Here are some more of my favorite swaps from Convention. Enjoy!

The two cards above were both created by Kim Molesworth. Very lovely!!

This card was created by Becky Morris. I guess I will have to purchase the Paradise stamp set now.

Thank you Judy Jackson for the wonderful ideas on this card. I have this stamp set and have struggled with my creations. This opens up so many new ways to use it!!

SEPTEMBER SPECIAL OFFER!

Hi all!
I just wanted to let you know that I will be having a special offer for the month of September in celebration of my 5 years with Stampin' Up! Each person that places a catalog merchandise order of $25 or more during the month of September will receive $5 off their order. This offer is only good through me and is only good on orders placed through me, not through on-line ordering. Since a new mini catalog will be starting on September 1st, this a perfect time to get those new and exciting items at a discount! You will just love the new mini, packed with oodles of new stamp sets, papers, accessories, and some brand new product lines!! If you don't receive one of the minis in the mail, you can go directly to my website on the 1st to view it there, or contact me to obtain a copy.
Happy stamping!

Some Favorite Convention Swaps

I am posting a few of my favorite convention swaps that I received. I will be posting more over the next few days. The name of the demonstrator artist will be listed below the card if it was listed on the back of the swap.
Hope you enjoy these samples.

This beautiful swap was created by Jennifer S. Cormack. It has quilling and microbeads on it that give it great dimension!

The card above was created by my third upline, Beverlee Morales. It has great texture and detail!

This card was created by Shellie Dortch. I just love the color combinations that she chose. Beautiful!

This lovely card was created by Karen Altizer. What a special card to celebrate anyone you know you who is challenged with or has battled breast cancer.

Still More Convention News!

The picture above is of the tote that we received at convention. It is reversible, with a blue and white design on the inside and pockets, too. It is made of canvas cloth.

This is a sample of a beautiful necklace made by Shelli Gardner. It is quite lovely!

The samples above were shown during a main stage demonstration.
The remaining pictures are of samples from the display boards in the Gathering Place.

We had our closing session today. It was sad to see it end, but I had a great time! Hopefully I will be able to go again next year!
Have a great evening!

Convention Day 3

Here are some lovely samples from the display boards at Convention.
I also had my make-n-take session today. It was fun, but rushed. We had so many projects to do, but not enough time. They advised us to Stamp, Punch, and Assemble later if we had time. It was called a "SPA" experience. I finished most of them this evening in my room after a great meal with some very nice demonstrators at Benihana. I will show pictures of those later when I have them totally completed.

More Convention News!

More news from Convention! The top photo is of the opening of Convention with some amazing gymnasts and the Convention theme song. We heard and saw a demonstration of My Digital Studio coming this Fall! (I actually won one of these at Leadership in January, and am anxiously awaiting its arrival!!)
Then we got to see a great demonstration of the Build-a-Bear themed stamps, dies, and accessories.
The next photo is of some very cute 3-D projects on display in the Gathering Place, made by some very talented demonstrators!
The remaining 2 photos are of the exclusive Stampin' Up Build-a-Bear! Each demonstrator was allowed to buy only one at Memento Mall. It has a cute Stampin' Up apron and even a Stampin' Up logo on the bottom paw. Sooo Cute! I have to come up with a great name for mine. Any ideas??
I have been taking lots of photos, but want to share them a little at a time with you, so you can enjoy them for some time to come.
Hope you are having a great week! Stay tuned for more tomorrow!

Convention Event Samples

I went to a special stamping event this afternoon called Stampin' Paradise. For $20, I got to make 6 projects, have a salad, drink, and cookie, as well as be entered into door prize drawings. I was actually the first one to win a door prize! I won a package of the white fleurettes crocheted flowers! Awesome! Anyway, I am posting the samples here that we made. It was a lot of fun! (helped to make up for the fact that I spent 4 hours getting into and through Memento Mall earlier today. Phew, I was exhausted!)
I will try to post more tomorrow. Enjoy!

Convention Bag Tag

This is the tag I made for the bag I will receive at Convention. Since all the bags look alike, it is important to have a tag that will identify it as your own! My personal information is on the back side of the tag.
This will probably be my last post before I leave for Convention, but make sure to check back on Wednesday evening to see if I have had a chance to post some fun things to see!

Ronald McDonald House Cards

These are samples of the cards we made at the Ronald McDonald House. The images are from the Very Thankful stamp set. Stampin' Up donates $2 to Ronald McDonald House Charities for each Very Thankful stamp set that is sold. We had a lot of fun creating with the families there today.
