New Cards

These are some new cards I made recently. A customer needed an anniversary card, so I was playing around with some of my new stamps, papers, and punches. Stay tuned, I will be posting my swap cards that I will be taking to Leadership very soon.

This is a holiday treat jar that I decorated to give to a special friend for Christmas. (A big thank you to my good stamping friend, Mercedes, for her wonderful inspiration for this idea.)

My Christmas Card

This is my Christmas card that I am sending out this year. The sentiment is stamped on the inside of the card. There is glitter on the rooftop of the house and on the snow on the ground. The embossed snowflakes were done on my cuttlebug with an embossing folder after I cut out the shape using the Stampin' Up top note die and Sizzix machine.

This is the card kit that we made in today's Holiday Extravaganza Stamp Camp. If you would like a kit to make up the cards yourself, they are still available for $20 each.
(Thank you to Linda Aarhus of Vancouver, WA for her great idea!)

Birthday Cards

Here are a couple of birthday cards that I made to add to my collection. Both are very simple styles, nothing too fancy.

Mosaic Technique

This is a card I made using the "mosaic" technique. It is a very easy and beautiful technique!

Happy Sunday!

Demonstrator Stamp 'n Chat

This is the card I used for my monthly demonstrator stamp 'n chat. I got the idea from my 3rd upline Bev. She used the owl head as a topper for Halloween candy bags. (You can take a look at her blog in my links) I wanted to use the idea on a card, so I added the body. I just love owls, so it was a lot of fun. Enjoy!

Happy November!

The card above on the bottom is the one I had the families make at the Ronald McDonald House at Stanford when I volunteered there yesterday. I cased it from a sample on our Demonstrator web site. The one on the top is another variation using a new Martha Stewart punch I purchased at Michaels. I just love the new autumn vine designer series paper! I will use this Thanksgiving card to send to friends and family that I won't see during the holiday.

By the way, mark your calendars for my annual Holiday Boutique! It will be held from noon to 4 pm on Saturday, November 29th, and Sunday, November 30th at my studio in Mountain View. I will have hand made cards, gifts, retired stamp sets, and much more! My daughter, Alyssa will be joining me with her handmade jewelry as well! You can see her beautiful handiwork at http://www.alyssajewelrydesigns.com/. Just contact me if you need the address.

Have a wonderful week!

My First Blog

Hi Everyone and welcome to my new Blog! Please bear with me as I get the hang of posting and such! I will do my best to be a fast learner!
The above picture is of a card kit that I am planning to offer to my customers. They can make 16 cards for $20 and there is no stamping involved! I had a lot of fun creating these cards from a simply scrappin' kit from Stampin' Up!
